Excerpt from Introduction to Course:
Sometimes we all feel like acrobats in a circus trying juggle all the things we have to do. With modern day stresses and demands, there never seem to be enough hours in the day. Demands come from all sides and we try to do a high wire balancing act to keep things running smoothly. Courses on time management have been around for a long time but energy, not time, is the key to living successfully. We all seem to live life flat out without giving a thought to what it is doing to our well-being. Keep that pressure up for long enough and exhaustion and breakdown are what we can expect. Time is finite but the amount of personal energy we all have is not. Now is the moment to think differently – the consequences of not doing so could be catastrophic. Once the energies line up then and only then you can start to manage your time effectively.
You are here reading this because you know that something, somewhere in your life is not quite right. Maybe you know exactly what is wrong but don’t know how to make changes. Perhaps it’s still just a vague feeling that niggles at you, but whatever point you are at on the road ignore it at your peril.
By the end of this course you will:
This is a brand new course, introducing folks to the concept of balancing our energies in order to get the most out of each day.
It is a 6-lesson, text-based course, covering topics including our 4 different energy sources, how to synchronise them and how to incorporate them into daily living.
Each lesson should take approximately 1.5-2h to complete and there are activities to experiment with and question to reflect on in order to deepen understanding. The activities are central to the course – the more you reflect and practise, the more you gain.
